A downloadable game

Belly of the Beast is a fantasy game based off of society inequities and class divisions. It is a 3-6 player game, but is best played with 4 people. At the beginning of the game, each player draws a Character Card, and a Circumstance Card. The money noted on the Circumstance Card is distributed, and then the game begins. Throughout the game, you collect Chance Cards that tell your story as you race to collect Lottery Cards. When a player reaches a certain number of Lottery Cards (you decide how long you want the game to be), everyone flips over their Lottery Cards and sees if they won the pot. Whoever has the most amount of money at the end of the game wins!

Belly of the Beast includes: 1 Game Board,  48 Chance Cards, 40 Lottery Cards, 8 Character Cards, 20 Circumstance Cards, 36 Item Cards, 4 Jail Cards,  6 Playing Tokens, 3 Dice, 1 Lottery Sheet, 6 Character Sheets, and Dragon Money.

The file labeled "Print&Play.zip" is set up to be professionally printed by  Print & Play. The cards are all printed on 12x18" paper. All cards are standard 3.5x2.5" besides the item cards, which are mini 1.75x2.5".  The board is their 18x24” Quad Fold Deluxe Board. The box is their Large Box (12.43 x 9.43 x 1.5"). The money, character sheets, and lotto sheet should be printed on standard paper at home. The cost is around $90 as of 2021.

The file labeled "8.5x11.zip" is meant to be printed at home on your standard printer. Beware, it is around 65 pages. This can be reduced by printing less lottery cards, not printing backs to cards, and using score cards to keep track of money. If printing this way, we recommend getting card slips to keep the cards together. The board will need to be assembled with tape or glue.

For both versions you should print a minimum of 4 character sheets and at least 2 of each increment of money. Money does best when printed on different colored paper. You will have to buy dice and meeples if you do not have some already.
